%X High frequency information of seismic signal in seismic spectrum decomposition can be described finely by wavelet decomposition using basic wavelet function of matched wavelet. According to seismic signal characteristic, basic wavelet is constructed by four kinds of parameters such as amplitude, energy attenuation ratio, energy lag time and wavelet tuning frequency. This paper shows the core-function selection method in transform with physical wavelet, and the spectrum imaging method based on physical wavelet is put forward. We used this method to describe marine fluvial facies reservoir. Compared with spectrum imaging method based on conventional wavelet transform, the results show that our method in this paper can describe geology phenomenon more efficiently.
