%X Effects of Cd2+on gonadotropin secretion of pituitary from common carp were studied by using the in vitro perfusion system. It was found that Cd2+ can stimulated gonadotropinsecretion directly, inhibited sGnRH-A stimulating gonadotropin secretion significantly. The results suggest that one of the toxic mechanisms of Cd2+ on pituitary gonadotrop might be Cd2+ - disturbed Ca2+ action.
