%X In this paper, according to the development of agricultural production, five basic geo-morphic characters in Fujian are given. Direct and indirect effects of these characters on ag-ricultural production are analysed. Then, this paper discusses the relation between geomor-phology and agricultural natural hazard and points out that there is a close relationship bet-ween geomorphology and natural hazard such as flood, typhoon, soil and water erosion, hill-slopes slip, and mud-rock flow. This paper suggests that the region with steep slope, heavy rainfall, and black mica granite is the weak agricultural ecological region in Fujian. Final-ly, according to the distribution of mountains and rivers, this paper suggests the method to improve the agricultural ecological environment in Fujian is to establish a shelter forest system in the whole province.
