%T REGIONAL DIFFERENTIATION OF CRITICAL CONCENTRATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL CAPACITY OF SOME HEAVY METALS FOR THE MAIN SOIL TYPES IN CHINA

%X According to the results of a 8 year comparation study, the distribution of critical concentra-tion and environmental capacity of Cd, Pb, Cu, As in laterite, crimson earth, red earth, purplish soil, yellow brown earth, brown earth, black soil, dark soil and sierozem soil in China is discussed. The results show that for most of heavy metals, the critical concentration and environmental ca-pacity differ considenrable in different soil types which distribute from the south to the north and from the east to the west, and have a zonal differentiation. For Cd, Cu they are increased from the south to the north and from the east to the west, and for As they are decreased from the south to the north and from the east to the west.
