%X Using surface temperature data set of the ISCCP-C2, spatial features and temporal changes of the surface temperature on the Tibetan Plateau are analyzed through the EOF method. The impact and response between the surface temperature and climatic variation about precipitation and monsoon are discussed. Representativenesses of the meteorological observing stations are investigated and three subregions are compartmentalized for the surface temperature on the Tibetan Plateau.
