%X The basic characteristics and positive, insequent zonation of groundwater chemistry of Tertiary sedimentary system are revealed in the paper. Based on ancient and modern hydrogeology, what the hydrochemical field is forming and evoluting in accordance with two patterns, namely, concentration_salinization, positive metamorphism and dilution-desalinization, nagative metamorphism is analyzed and proved. It is also pointed out that the modern chemistry of Tertiary groundwater has already evoluted to maturity, in conclusion, the formation and evolution pattern is summarized.
