光分组组装机制对自相似流的整形效应分析 %A 潘勇 %A 叶培大 %J 光子学报 %D 2005 %I %X Optical packet assembly at the edge router is expected to serve as a traffic shaper to mitigate the adverse influence of self-similar traffic in optical packet-switched networks. The paper aims to fully explore the effects of optical packet assembly on traffic shaping. Our study by simulation shows that optical packet assembly performs self-similar traffic shaping not only by significantly reducing of self-similarity, but also by improving the short-term correlation and the marginal distribution of traffic processes. %K Self-similar traffic %K Optical packet switching %K Optical packet assembly %K Traffic shaping
