S. joint team in Himalaya region, and analyses the rationality of the parameters and the limitation of the data collection system.The explosive conditions are essential to the recording quality. The reflected waves from the Moho 70-75km in depth, and from beneath the Moho were obtained with shots nominally of 50kg dynamite in a single hole 50m deep or 25kg in each of two holes 25m deep as an shot array.50s recording length permits the depth penetration to reach as deep as 150-180km in case of horizontal layers.The observation system can hardly suppress the low frequency noises efficiently.
