%X Tibetan Plateau is a large deformation zone produced by the collision between lndia and Euro-Asia, The deformation of lithosphere upper mantle play an crucial role in the uplift of Plateau. In this paper, the PKP residual variations along the central Tibetan profile is analysed and found that Moho steps are the common features beneath Tibetan Plateau. The gravity modelling is performed constrained by the seismic reflection data. It is suggested that folding, steps and imbrications of Moho may be the important mechamism related to the uplift of Tibetan Plateau. Finally, we discussed the influence of the plate motion, local thermal and density heterogeneity and mantle flow on the lithosphere deformaion.
