%X Through field observation and computer processing of fault slip data, we divided the brittle tectonic stress' fields in the northern Tibet Qinghai plateau into two periods: Oligocene middle Pleistocene and middle Pleistocene Holocene. The maximum principal stress's orientation is approximately S N direction in the former period and N E in Altyn Taph and N W in Qilian respectively in the latter one. Meanwhile, geodyncmics of the northern Tibet Qinghai plateau is analysized.
