They occur in isolated flows or in association with ultramafin rocks to form ophiolitic melange. The high-Ti basalt, being calc-alkalic, is rich in large-ion elements and LREE, such as, Zr, Sr, Nb, P, TiO2 and K2O, etc, Whereas, the low-Ti basalt, being tholeiite, contents lesser large-ion elements and LREE. The geochemistry of basalts and petrochemical statistical analysis clealy denote that there seems to be no transition between the two types. The high-Ti basalt is similar to caic-alkalic basalt of island arc, formed in the early stage of back -are basin or rift and is probably the product of low partial melting of upple mantle. The low-Ti basalt is similar to ocean ridge basalt, formed in the advanced rift stage of back-are basin and is the product of high partial melting of upple mantle. The geochemical characteristics at basalts indicate that the Tuoli ophio-iite was formed under micro-rift environment in back-arc basin. %U http://www.alljournals.cn/get_abstract_url.aspx?pcid=E62459D214FD64A3C8082E4ED1ABABED5711027BBBDDD35B&cid=621CF755B1A341E5&jid=1DF69A47DE80569EC8F859DF61571180&aid=8A5BBB6F6CE57A26AA2961F331E83FAF&yid=0702FE8EC3581E51&vid=F3090AE9B60B7ED1&iid=CA4FD0336C81A37A&sid=12DC19455C3A2FA8&eid=856C2E13D1000DB7&journal_id=1006-3021&journal_name=地球学报&referenced_num=0&reference_num=0
