%X The radiative forcing of stratospheric aerosol are calculated and parameterized in this paper It is found that the radiative forcing of this kind aerosol is not only related to its horizontal variation, but also to the surface albedo Furthermore, we have simulated the surface equilibrium temperature change induced by the Pinatubo volcanic aerosols using the two-dimensional energy balance model developed recently The results show that the surface temperature had the greatest decrease in late 1992 due to the Pinatubo aerosols, but the perturbation became very small in mid 1996
