%X More and more attentions have been paid to the human-induced greenhouse effects and their impacts on global climate and eco-environment changes.The global climate changes affect the forest ecosystems,which inversely give a feedback to the global climate changes in a certain extent.As an important part of the global terrestrial ecosystem,the responses and feedbacks of the forest ecosystem in China to the future global climate changes have become very attractive issues.This paper summarizes systemically the impacts of the global climate change on forest distribution,forest productivity,forest species composition and forest soil,and also points out the main problems in the present researches,such as taking into account the extreme climate events rarely,ignoring the interaction between different forest species,considering not enough about the mutual effects and feedbacks between the global climate changes and the forest ecosystem in China,understanding superficially the mechanism on the responses of the forest succession to the global climate changes,and employing the immature model and insufficient data.This paper has applied systemic and exhaustive analyses on the present researches and problems of the impacts of the global climate changes on the forest ecosystem in China,and given some reasonable proposals.In the end,the core issues and key contents about future researches on the forest ecosystems are advanced.
