As the atmosphere is dilute in the stratosphere, the molecular system approximation at large Knudsen number must be used. When gravity motion is dominant, the analytic solutions of the new pair-distribution equation are obtained by the method at high Q ij number. The results show that there is larger coagulation rate of the aerosol particles in the stratosphere than in the troposphere. %K Knudsen number %K aerosol particles %K coagulation
