%X Based on a serial study on twilight problems, this paper proposes a scheme for retrieving the vertical distribution of stratospheric aerosols using the intensity observations during twilight periods. After simulations and analyses of Koomen's twilight data by a Monte -Carlo code, a retrieval test was carried out using this data set and the retrieval results and errors were discussed. Results show that this method may provide an effective retrieval method for studying the long-term variation of stratospheric aerosols.
