%X Based on the IAP 9L, experiments are designed to study the influence of the different SSTA structure over the India Ocean during El Ni o on the early summer Asian monsoon and the early summer precipitation over the southern China. The results show that the affection of the SSTA over the Indian Ocean is significant. The different SSTA structures over the Indian Ocean have important impact on the cross-equatorial flow and the precipitation over India, the China-Indian Peninsula in the early summer during El Ni o, which is basically in agreement with observations.
