%X Transient gain of YDCFA is analyzed both on theory and experiment. A reduced model for transient gain is proposed and low repetition rate pulse after YDCFA is investigated through numerical calculation. Transient gain saturation and recovery is also discussed theoretically. Pulse amplified characteristics at different pump power and repetition is obtained through experiment, which is well in agreement with theoretical analysis.
