%X To set up coastal wetland resource & environment information (CWREIS) with GIS, it is a active method to carry out the scientific management and ensure the sustainable development in the coastal area. CWREIS, as a practice GIS, its construct system and main idea are discussed. Then some suggestions are put forward to maintain and develop the stability and function of system , including the following:(1)acquiring spatial and attribution data to make use of the technique of RS and GPS;(2)in building database to combine the Object-Oriented Database method;(3)enlargjng the spatial analysis ways on the basic technique of traditional GIS.
