%X On the basis of the GPS observation model,the priciple and the characteristics of the clock jumps of GPS receiver and its effects on the GPS carrier phase observation and GPS pseudorange observation are analyzed.Furthemore,it is compared with cycle slip of GPS carrier phase observation.An example shows that the jump of the GPS data caused by the clock jumps has no effect on positioning calculation.Consequently,in the course of GPS data preprocess,the clock jumps can be ignored,but the difference between clock jump and cycle slip should be known to ensure that the positioning calculation is correct.
