商建 %A 杨汝良 %J 电子与信息学报 %D 2008 %I %X Researching data processing of the spaceborne precipitation radar is very important in understanding this unique radar system and developing data application, and will help to design spaceborne weather radar and develop algorithms in the future. Radar reflectivity factor is retrieved using observation data; surface radar cross section and path integration attenuation are calculated with less computation. Rain type classification is also studied and the final results are presented. Typhoon data are processed and some pictures illustrating its 3D structure are given.
