The Genetic Algorithm(GA) is applied to sonobuoys deployment with reasonable crossover, mutation and the fitness function. A simulation is present to compare detection probability of sonobuoys array between produced by GA and standard method, and the results indicates that the GA can achieve a significant improvement in detection probability. %K Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) %K Sonobuoys deployment %K Genetic algorithm
