%X This paper brings forward a new approach for image shadow processing based on PCNN(Pulse Coupled Neural Network). The results of computer simulation show that by using PCNN shadow removal algorithm image shadow can be removed efficiently so that the object in the image is easy to be found. This paper expands application field of PCNN, which has biological background.
