%X Active Networks (AN) are a novel approach to network architecture in which the switches of the network perform customized computations on the messages flowing through them. AN seems to be particularly useful in the context of QoS support. In this paper, an active routing protocol is proposed which is called Mulli-constraints Active Routing(MAR) by introducing QoS routing into AN. Some simulation and analysis prove this protocol is more concise, more controllable, and more flexible than other QoS routing mechanisms at present.
