%X Sodium molybdate and silicon-containing compounds are selected primarily as inhibitors for G-105 steel in polymer containing drilling fluids by linear polarization tests.Then the effectiveness of combined inhibitors was examined also by polarization curves.It showed that the combined inhibitors were much effective than any single-component inhibitors,which implies the existence of a synergistic effect between the single inhibitors and results in the formation of a protective film on the metal surface,which ...
