%X An efficient hybrid field solution to microstrip transmission lines is presented by using SLE and SLM modes in spectral domain. It by-passes the lengthy process of formulating the determinant equation for the unknown propagation constant. Compared with spectral domain admittance approach, this method is clear in both physical and mathematical senses and may be applied to a variety of structures.
