%X Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) is an effective technique to support radio multimedia service. This paper presents an analysis on the uplink capacity of a multimedia CDMA system under multicell environment. The effect of the users' maximum transmission power constraints on the system capacity is analyzed with and without considering the users' active factors. The derivations and computation results show that the users' maximum transmission power constraints decrease the system capacity.
