%X Based on fourth-order cumulants, a new optimizing criterion is discussed and proven to have the global minima, while the minima satisfy the decorrelating conditions. Thereby, a new scheme for the blind multiuser detection can be obtained by solving the optimization problem. Then, an adaptive algorithm for the blind multiuser detection is given using method of the steepest descent. The computer simulation further demonstrates the results.
