%X Effect of scattering and absorption properties of biological tissue on two-photon excitation and confocal imaging depth was studied.The results of imaging through a depth of 30μm in tissue showed that there was an improvement in the imaging depth obtained with two-photon excitation relative to confocal imaging.Results from model experiments of biological tissue and Monte Carlo stimulation indicated the feature was mainly caused by scattering and absorption properties of biological tissue.
