%X The linear structures of Boolean functions are discussed using characteristic set of Boolean functions, and a way to find linear structures of Boolean functions is given. Then, the linear structures of Boolean functions are generalized, and r-type linear structures of Boolean functions are presented and studied, meanwhile the cryptological significance of r-type linear structures of Boolean functions is described.
