%X Objective To analyze the sonographic features of breast precancerous lesion. Methods The sonographie manifestation, including shape and margin of the lesions, minor calcification, acoustic attenuation and arterial resistance index, of 44 breast precancerous lesions, 50 breast benign and 42 malig- nant lesions confirmed by surgical pathology were retrospectively analyzed and compared. Results The appearances of irregular shape were displayed in 4 benign lesions ( 4/50,8.0% ) , 5 precancerous lesions ( 5/44,11.4% ) and 27 malignant lesions ( 27/42,64.3 % ) ; angulated margin in 4 benign lesions ( 4/50, 8.0% ), 10 precancerous lesions( 10/44,22.7% )and 34 malignant lesions (34/42,80. 9% ) ;minor calcifi- cation in 0 benign lesion, l0 precancerous lesions (( 10/44,22.7% )and 24 malignant lesions (24/42, 57.1% ) ; acoustic attenuation in 0 benign lesion, 2 precancerous lesions ( 2/44,4.5% ) and 8 malignant lesions(8/42,19.1% ) ;arterial resistance index more than 0- 7 in 6 benign lesions(6/50,12.0% ), 13 precancerous lesions ( 13/44,29.6% ) and 33 malignant lesions ( 33/42,78.6% ), respectively. There were obvious statistical significance between precancerous and malignant group in 5 indexes( P 〈 0.05 or P 〈 0.01 ). Irregular shape, minor calcification and arterial resistance index more than 0.7 showed statistical significance between benign and precancerous groups ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion The irregular shape, minor calcification and arterial resistance index more than 0.7 are useful sonographic signs for breast precancerous lesion.
