Gene engineering has been widely recognized due to its unique predominance to conquer graft rejection and induce immune tolerance. The efficiency and the safety of the vectors must be comfirmed, and the optimum genes that will be used as the transplant targets for gene therapy were identified, before applying the gene therapy for avoidance of organ transplant rejection.
