%X An accelerated stress corrosion test apparatus was designed and fabricated for corrugated tubes in high temperature corrosive circumstance.Thereafter the properties and character of several anti-chloride corrugated tubes made by materials 316L,254SMo and Incoloy 800 was studied.The results show that the stress corrosion lifetime of the corrugated tubes made of materials 254SMo was 30 times longer than that of 316L under circumstance of 42% boiling MgCl2,and Incoloy 800 was 20 times longer than 316L. Therefore, the stress corrosion lifetime of corrugated tubes would be enhanced greatly if 254SMo or Incoloy 800 substituted for 316L.Meridian crack initiated at the flank of wave crest,and toric crack at the wave crest,because the stress is different,the two cracks propagated differently too.
