The cell eliminated contaminants of ions from reference electrode for thin electrolyte while it diminished the value of IR between working electrode and reference electrode. In addition, it was ease to operate. The electrochemical corrosion behavior of the cell under thin electrolyte film and in bulk electrolyte was comparatively investigated using polarization curve and EIS technique. The results showed that it was proper to use the cell to investigate the electrochemical corrosion behavior of metal in atmosphere. %K thin film electrolyte %K electrochemical corrosion %K cell
