%X In this paper, principles of preparation of nanometer-scale compositionally modulated multilayers with superlattice structure are discussed. The effect of galvanostatical and potentiostatical technique on the microstructure of nanometer-scale multilayers is described. A new method of anodic oxidation for preparation of ceramic materials is introduced. By virtue of modern test method-XRD ,STM ,superlattice structure and modulation wavelengths of nanometer-scale multilayers can be confirmed and measured. Application prospect of compositionally modulated multilayers are discoussed too.
