%X For a broadband SCM (Subcarrier Multiplexing) Lightwave system, it is an important theoretic subject to study and reduce the harmonic and intermodulation distortions induced by laser nonlinearities. This paper gives the analyses for the nonlinearity of laser P-I curve and intrinsic nonlinearity caused by the mixing of photons and electrons in laser cavity, and their influence on multiplexing channels.
