%X Moniting methods of protecting channel in WDM ring network were proposed in this paper,which include leaking optical monitor,extra traffic monitor,auxiliary wavelength monitor.Comparing their performance authors can give a conclusion that update of EA monitor is a good monitor that has excellent performance and fit to random scale ring networks.
