%X Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) have a great potential for smart structures as actuators and sensors. However. the slow response speed of SMA bulk materials restricts their extensive applications. SMA thin films make up this disadvantages and are easier to be integrated into smart structures. In this paper, recent studies on SMA thin films are presented.and its future is also prospected.
