%X Transforming behavior of original oxide film of Cu-30Ni-1Fe-1Mn alloy exposed to seawater was firstly observed in present work. A Mn-rich original surface oxide film with its inner film of low valence manganese oxide could usually transform into a Ni-rich corrosion product film, however a Mn-poor film with its inner film of high valence manganese oxide could usually transform into Ni-poor corrosion product film in seawater. It is obvious that corrosion risistance of a Ni-rich corrosion product film is much better than that of other types of corrosion product films.
