%X Plasma polymerization of benzonitrile (BN) was carried out with RF glow discharge systems (13.56MHz). The structure of polymer was characterized by means of IR,UV-VIS, Elemental Analysis and MS. For the first time the nonresonant opticaI Kerr effect of polymer in DMF solution was measured with femtosecond laser pulses.
