%X The measured value of tensile strength of CVD SiC(W core)filament descendswith increasing of the specimen gauge length.The room tensile strength of the filament exhibitsa normal distribution.The average and standard deviation of the tensile strengths of the SiC(Wcore)filament,which made by radio frequench heating CVD,are 3584.2 and 403.7MPa with aWeibull modulus of 9.8 for a 50mm gange length and 3669.9 and 348.1MPa with a Weibullmodulus of 11.9 for a 25mm gange length,respectively.
