%X The corrosive wear rates of 40Cr steel and 304SS in 3.5%NaCI solution were measured experimentally, the corrosion rates under wearing and steady state respectively were also measured with Tafel method as well as the polarization resistence technique, and were calibrated by the results of immersion test.The synergistic amounts between corrosion and wear of the steels in 3.5% NaCl solution were quanhtatively analysed. It shows that the corrosion-induced wear is the main reason of the material removal.
