%X A dynamic recrystallization nucleated by subgrain tilt was discovered by investi-gating hot deformation of 8090Al-Li alloy.The nucleation by subgrain tilt and the effect ofstrains on the nucleation were analyzed.It is pointed out by investigations that therecrystallization nucleated by subgrain tilt is the proccss,in which with th action of appliedstress dislocations overcome the energy barrier caused by short range stress field ofsubboundary,enter into subboundary to increase the angle of subboundary and concurrentlymake subgrain tilt.
