%X The dependences of tensile strength on the primary structure of polymers and onthe coditions of processing and testing for self-reinforced polymers were studied by the methodof uniaxial extension.A great number of experimental results were used to verify this theory.Itis found that this theory is in excellent agreement with the experimental data.The kinetic theoryof tensile strength can predict the relations of tensile strength to the conditions of processing andtesting and to the primary structure of polymers for self-reinforcecd polymers.
