%X The phase transition temperature of Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 -BaTiO3 (PZN-BT) system ceramics decreases sharply with the addition of BT content. This behavior is different from that of other ferroelectric solid-solutions. Based on the assumption of nano-phase seperation in a complex system, the para-regions of Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 are suggested to be responsible for the abnormal decrease of the phase transition temperature of the Ph(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-BaTiO3(PZN-BT) system. The phase transition anomalous with the addition of BaTiO3 content is successfully explained by using chemical thermodynamics.
