%X The effect of aging on the structure and properties of rapidly solidifiedAl-2.4Li-2.4Cu,Al-2.4Li-2.4Cu-0.3Zr and Al-2.4Li-2.4Cu-0.7Zr alloys has been studied byusing tension and TEM.The experimental results show that aging velocity and tensile strengthof alloys were increased by adding Zr and pre-age stretching.However,adding of Zr exceeds0.3 wt% does not produce strong strengthening effect on the alloys.The dislocation producedby pre-age stretch is avialible for uniform precipitation of Tl strengthening phase.
