%X In this paper, KF stability equation is further analysed, and a new interface statility criterion, obtained. Furthermore, the united criterion of interface stability is interpreted. It is found that not only high solidification velocity but very high temperature gradient will lead to absolute interface stability, while the physical concept of absolute stability is perfected and the critical parameters of aboslute stability are given, and This result will be of much gudiance to rapid solidification and laser surface treatment techniques.Correspondent: MA Dong, The State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing, Northwestern Polytechical University,Xi'an 710072
