%X This paper described a newly-developed,automated instrument for measuringthe interfacial bond strength of specimens cut from actual manufactured articales.In the test,acompressive load was applied to individual fibers oriented normal to a polished surface untildebonding occured.The inteffacial shear strength of CF/PMR-15 composite was obtained byusing the debonding force through a finite-element analysis.
