Dependence of the cutoff wavelengths of the twoorthogonal polarization states (polarized along the two principal axesof PM-mPOF) on the structure parameters of the fibre is investigated indetail. A single-polarization single-mode (SPSM) PM-mPOF working in thevisible region is designed and optimized with the result of the maximumSPSM bandwidth of 140nm. %K 42 %K 81 %K -i %K 42 %K 81 %K Gs %K 74 %K 25 %K Gz
