%X The exponential item in the formula calculating the tensile strength for high-porosity materials will impact greatly the calculation result of the tensile strength. In this paper, some relative test data were used to examine the relative formula, and it is found that 1.25 used as the exponential value is believed to be more suitable than 1.5 (or 3/2) for the high-porosity metal material with moderate plastisity.
