%X An exact solution in series form to the two-dimensional problem of two circular elastic inclusions embedded in an infinite matrix subjected to in-plane concentrated forces and edge dislocations is given through complex potential approach in association with the techniques of conformal mapping, analytical continuation, singularity analysis, Cauchy ubtegral formulaem, Laurent series expansion in an annulus region, etc. The singularities can be located in the matrix or within the two circular inclusions. When an edge dislacation is embedded in the matrix, explicit expressions for the interaction energy between the dislocation and the two circular inclusions as well as the force acting on the dislocation are also derived. The numerical example validates the correctness of the elastic solution and illustrates the interaction of the point singularity with the two circular inclusions.
